Continuing Education Credits

Participants must be registered and attend the entire scientific session in-person and complete the CME Outfitters, LLC request for credit form and online evaluation form to receive continuing education credit. Request for credit forms and directions on how to complete the online evaluation will be emailed to you from GSA after the last day of the meeting, Sunday, November 6. Continuing education materials will be accepted up to 30 days after the program takes place. A record of attendance will be kept on file by CME Outfitters. To earn credits, you will need to add the continuing education option to your registration. If you are already registered for the  GSA 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting, you can still add continuing education. Just login with your GSA account and edit your event registration.

Jointly Accredited Provider   

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by CME Outfitters, LLC, and Gerontological Society of America. CME Outfitters is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians (ACCME)

CME Outfitters, LLC, designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Note to Nurse Practitioners: Nurse practitioners can apply for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). AANP will accept AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from Jointly Accredited Organizations. Nurse practitioners can also apply for credit through their state boards.

Social Work (ACE)

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, CME Outfitters, LLC is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. CME Outfitters, LLC maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 24.0 clinical continuing education credits.


All others will receive a General Certificate of Completion.
